Hubercarb and Geotex® calcium carbonates from Huber Engineered Materials are used as an extender, an agent to either reduce or enhance gloss, an anti-slip additive and/or to densify the product. CP Kelco’s KELZAN® Xanthan Gum is used in water-based undercoats, primers and sealers, and textured paints.
Hubercarb ground calcium carbonate is used in vinyl flooring as a weighting and whiting agent, stiffener and cost-reducer.
KELZAN Xanthan Gum is ideal for use in ceramic glazes. This product can also be used in the jet printing processes for carpet coloration to control the print definition and the penetration of paste into the pile.
