ATLANTA (June 30, 2020) – J.M. Huber Corporation has completed the divestiture of its Carboxymethyl Cellulose business (CMC) to Nouryon—a global specialty chemicals company with about 10,000 employees operating in over 80 countries around the world. The transaction, finalized after approvals from the European Commission and other global regulatory bodies, transfers ownership of Huber’s CMC facility in Äänekoski, Finland, to Nouryon, effective today.
