A member of the fifth generation of Huber family members, Zachary Seely joined the Huber Corporate Board of Directors in March 2017. Prior to becoming a voting Director, Seely was a non-voting family Director on both the Corporate Board and the Huber Engineered Materials Management Board.
Playing an active part in family governance, Seely was a Director of the Huber Family Office from 2009 to 2013, where he also served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee. A summer internship at the Company during high school and another while in college fueled Seely’s interest in Huber.
Seely is currently an independent management consultant focused on the media and technology industries. He previously led business strategy for Luma Pictures, which has a portfolio that includes visual effects services and original content production. He was also responsible for reviewing and approving investments for Luma’s start-up incubator and accelerator programs.
Before joining Luma in 2016, Seely held positions of increasing responsibility at several media-related businesses, including Spotify, Hulu, CNN and Fox Sports. He also gained experience at the global management consulting firm of McKinsey & Company, where he served in the Business Technology Office for four years.
Seely holds a BA from Bates College in Maine and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
