Pamela Butcher
Pamela Butcher joined the J.M. Huber Board of Directors in December 2022, bringing over 40 years of leadership experience in the global chemicals industry.
She most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pilot Chemical Corp., a family-owned global specialty chemical company. During her decade as CEO, the company saw its revenue and profits both grow significantly. International business doubled and the company successfully completed five acquisitions, including one international.
Before joining Pilot, she worked 29 years for The Dow Chemical Company (now Dow Inc.) where she held a variety of executive leadership positions and was a distinguished recipient of Dow’s Genesis Award, Dow’s highest recognition for people leadership. Among her executive roles were Vice President & General Manager, leading Dow’s multi-billion-dollar growth initiative for the Adhesives and Sealants business.
Prior to this, she served as Corporate Vice President of Marketing & Sales, and as the Business Vice President of Specialty Chemicals, a $3 billion portfolio of nine businesses.
Butcher currently serves on the Boards of Pilot Chemical Corp., Arch Resources and as President of the Rogers Family Foundation. She previously served on the Boards of publicly traded Trecora Resources, PDC Energy Inc., and private equity held Quality Distribution, Inc., helping lead all three organizations through their successful acquisitions by other enterprises. She also served on the US Bank Regional Advisory Board, the board of trustees for the Chemical Educational Foundation, and on the Boards of the American Cleaning Institute, the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association and numerous community organizations.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy and a Master of Science Degree from Purdue University. Butcher is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg Marketing Executive program and the Governing Family Enterprises program. She participated in the Prince of Wales Sustainability Conference and the Asian Master Class on Asian Business. She has also completed the Director Professionalism® Class, offered by the National Association of Corporate Directors.
