Marcello Boldrini brings expertise in the specialty chemicals and polymers industries to the Management Board of Huber Engineered Materials (HEM), which he joined in August 2019. Boldrini is currently CEO and a Director of Kraton Corporation, a global specialty chemical company, headquartered in Houston, Texas.

Prior to Kraton, Boldrini was at Houghton International Inc., a global leader in metalworking fluids and services, where he served as Senior Vice President of the company and President of the Asia Pacific Region and Global Metals.

Before joining Houghton, Boldrini was at Momentive/Hexion, a $7 billion global specialty chemical company, where he held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. He previously served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Hexion’s global Phenolic Resins business.

Boldrini came to Momentive/Hexion after holding several leadership roles at Ashland Inc., including Vice President of M&A and Business Development, Vice President and General Manager for the global Specialty Polymers and Adhesive Division and Vice President of Global Product Management, Marketing and Business development for the Performance Materials Group. He was previously Managing Director of Europe, based in Milan, Italy, and Managing Director of Asia, based in Singapore, for the Electronic Chemical Division.

Early in his career, he held commercial and business leadership roles in Europe at Quaker Chemical and Unilever/Unichema.

He is a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development of the Conference Board. Boldrini was also a Director and Chairman of several international joint venture boards when at Ashland, Momentive/Hexion and Houghton, in Taiwan, Korea, China, Japan and Germany.

Boldrini holds a Master of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Milano and an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
