Laura Lee Gentry has served as J.M. Huber Corporation’s Executive Vice President (EVP) & Chief People Officer (CPO) since February 2024 and is a member of the Huber Management Council. In her role, she is responsible for leading Huber’s talent strategy and advancing the Company’s workforce planning, talent and development, succession planning, benefits and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies and programs.

Gentry is a global expert on driving business performance and competitive advantage through strategic talent management. Her unique approach draws upon her experience as a leading consultant, operational leader and strategist.

Prior to joining Huber, Gentry built out the People and Culture team at Enboarder and led the development of a Total Rewards strategy and function, the consolidation of disparate payroll systems into one global platform, and the deployment of a variety of leadership and employee development as well as recognition programs.

Before this, she led a cultural transformation at Applied Systems through designing and delivering “Values in Action,” Leadership Development, and Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging programs. Before joining Applied Systems, she delivered the design, launch and follow through for the first-ever Talent Management function for Ultimate Software and for CSM’s North American & Global companies. Earlier in her career, she was a consultant with Egon Zehnder International.

Gentry’s tactical drive and project planning skills are complemented by strategic thinking and an ability to connect with people at all levels. Her passion for people and community extends into the civic realm as well. She has served on a variety of Atlanta-based charities and not-for-profit boards.

Gentry is a graduate of the University of Georgia (BBA cum laude in Banking and Finance) and completed her International MBA with Distinction at the London School of Business.
