K’Lynne Johnson joined the Huber Board of Directors in March 2020, bringing over 30 years of experience as a leader in the chemical industry.

From 2007 to 2016, Johnson was the founding CEO and President of Elevance Renewable Sciences, Inc., a specialty “green” chemicals company providing high performance, cost competitive products for the polymers, coating, cleaning, personal care and performance wax markets. Under her leadership, Elevance earned several honors, including the EPA Presidential Green Challenge Award, Bloomberg New Energy Pioneer Award and Crain’s Business’ Top 25 Most Innovative Companies.

Johnson was also a co-founder of BeauLily, Inc., established in 2006 and sold in 2014, which provided therapeutic hand products created to promote increased hand flexibility, mental and sensory stimulation.

Prior to Elevance, K’Lynne was a Senior Vice President at Innovene, a subsidiary of BP, leading an operating company with revenues of $3.5 billion from multiple global specialty and commodity chemicals businesses. Within BP and Amoco, she worked in a variety of roles covering general business management, supply chain optimization, HR management, strategy, and organizational development and effectiveness.

She currently serves as an independent Director for a mix of public and private Boards, including FMC Corporation, one of the world’s foremost agricultural sciences companies; Trinseo Corporation, a global manufacturer of plastic, latex binders and synthetic rubber; BlueScope Steel Limited, a global steel manufacturer; and Sylvatex, an early stage nano chemicals company. She previously served on the Board of TPC, a commodity chemicals company.

Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University.
