Kirk Blanchette joined the Management Board of CP Kelco in May 2023, bringing more than 25 years of experience in strategy design and deployment, business development, and finance leadership. He is currently Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Strategy for Huber Engineered Woods (HEW), a role he has held since 2012. During his tenure, Blanchette’s role has grown to include management of numerous functions within HEW, including Finance, Accounting, Strategy, Marketing, Logistics, Inside Sales, Sales & Operations, Strategic Purchasing, Risk and the OEM business practice. In addition to his management role, Blanchette is an active participant representing HEW on the Policy Advisory Board for the Harvard Joint Centers for Housing.

Prior to joining HEW, Blanchette held numerous roles in the venture capital and private equity industries, most recently as a Partner at Seguin Partners, a middle-market-focused fund. Prior to his principal investing roles, he was an investment banker with Bank of America, focused on Mergers & Acquisitions and corporate finance for industrial clients.

He has served on several private company boards over his career as either a voting or non-voting director, helping to shape and execute their growth strategies.

Blanchette holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Investments from Babson College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
