Joe Burgess

Joe Burgess is President of Huber Engineered Woods (HEW), a manufacturer of innovative building solutions serving residential and commercial construction markets across North America. He leads HEW’s overall business strategy, commercial and operational performance, innovation priorities and long-term growth agenda. 

Joe brings more than 20 years of experience in the building products industry, with deep knowledge of the US housing market, HEW’s customers and its operations. Prior to being named President, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and held a series of commercial and business development leadership roles at HEW. Throughout his career, Joe has built strong customer and channel partnerships, developed high-performing teams and translated strategy into disciplined execution and sustainable results. 

Earlier in his career, Joe held commercial, business development, and project management roles with James Hardie and Stonhard/RPM. A North Carolina native, he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from North Carolina State University and completed the Strategic Leadership Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
