Jennifer Aspen Mason has served as Executive Vice President & Chief Sustainability Officer of J.M. Huber Corporation since June 2023. In her role, she is responsible for leading Huber’s sustainability journey related to the Company’s products, services and processes to generate long-term social, environmental and financial benefits for Huber’s stakeholders. She engages with external stakeholders—customers, suppliers and the global innovation community—to continue to inform Huber’s journey and ensure that future acquisitions, partnerships and mergers align with our sustainability priorities and goals. Mason joined Huber in 2017 as CP Kelco’s Senior Vice President of Global Innovation. 

Before joining Huber, Mason spent six years with Mars, Inc. in several roles, including Technology and Science Strategy Officer, and Vice President of Research and Development for the Mars Petcare business. Prior to her time at Mars, she held leadership positions in a number of Unilever’s food businesses at the global, regional and local level.  

Mason serves on the Advisory Board for Batory Foods and the US National Board of the Commanderie de Bordeaux. She has previously served on the Executive Board of the Global Prebiotics Association and the President’s Advisory Council for her alma mater, Lawrence University. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Lawrence University and a PhD in Psychology and Behavioral Pharmacology from the University of Chicago, as well as a certification in safety from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
