George Willis is an experienced senior executive with more than 36 years of leadership in logistics, transportation, and large-scale operations. He currently serves on the Huber Corporate Board of Directors, bringing deep operational expertise, strategic insight, and a strong governance perspective to the organization. 

George spent the majority of his distinguished career at UPS, where he progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as President of U.S. Operations. In this role, he led package delivery services and UPS Airlines, overseeing a workforce of approximately 367,000 employees. As a member of the UPS Executive Leadership Team, George played a key role in shaping and executing the company’s long-term strategy while driving operational excellence across one of the world’s most complex logistics networks. 

Previously, George served as President of UPS’s West Region and President of the UK, Ireland, and Nordics Region, managing extensive geographic territories and delivering sustained operational and financial performance. He also led The UPS Store® franchise network, where he strengthened business development, operational strategy, and franchisee success at scale. 

George’s foundation in logistics began with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, where he managed warehousing operations—an experience that helped shape his disciplined, execution-focused leadership style and his ability to manage highly complex systems. 

Beyond his executive career, George is an experienced board leader. In addition to Huber, he is a current board member of Vulcan Materials Company and an advisory member for Vorto. He previously served on the board of Atlas Air Worldwide, contributing to governance, risk oversight, and strategic growth initiatives. 

George is deeply committed to excellence, strategic leadership, and the advancement of organizations and people. He holds a B.A. in Management from Trinity College, attended Morehouse College, and completed executive education programs at Columbia University and the Yale CEO College Program.
