Carlos J. Guilherme

Carlos Guilherme joined the Huber Engineered Woods Management Board in February 2025. With more than 30 years of experience in the wood product industry, both as an operating executive and consultant, he brings valuable insights especially in the areas of strategy development and execution.

Guilherme currently manages an independent management consulting firm that works with operating companies and investment firms on issues of business strategy development, acquisition analysis and operations improvements.

Prior to his current role, Guilherme served on the executive team of Weyerhaeuser Company – a leading integrated forest products company. In his most recent role at Weyerhaeuser, he led the Trust Joist business as Vice President of Engineered Wood Products. Earlier assignments at Weyerhaeuser include Vice President of Wood Products Sales and Marketing and General Manager of the Canadian Distribution business.

Earlier in his career, Guilherme was the Vice President of Supply Chain for Fletcher Challenge Canada, a New Zealand-based wood products company, and prior to that he spent he 6 years with McKinsey & Company in their Toronto, Canada and Sydney, Australia offices.

Carlos has an MBA from the University of British Columbia, Canada and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada.
