Thomas Vacchiano, Jr. brings 15 years of experience serving on the boards of several US and European companies to his role on the Huber Board of Directors. Appointed to the Huber Board in June 2015, Vacchiano has a career that spans more than 35 years, including serving as President & CEO of three companies.

Until 2013, Vacchiano was the head of X-Rite, Inc. (and Pantone, its subsidiary), a recognized global leader in the art and science of color. He played an instrumental role in the sale of X-Rite to Danaher Corporation in 2012.

Vacchiano joined X-Rite in 2006 after orchestrating the merger of X-Rite, the #1 market leader in the color solutions industry, with the #2 leader—Amazys Holding AG. Prior to X-Rite, he was President & CEO of Amazys from 2001 to 2006.

He also served as President & CEO of Xerox Engineering Systems, which serves the engineering and graphic arts industries. Vacchiano’s experience includes three years as Vice President of Operations and Planning for the Systems Business Unit of Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). Prior to DEC, he held a range of positions of increasing responsibility at NCR Corporation over 17 years.

Vacchiano holds a BS and an MBA from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
