Jill Smith brings more than 25 years of experience as an international business leader to the Huber board. Her background includes 16 years as CEO of private and public companies in the technology and information services markets. She is the former President and CEO of Allied Minds PLC., an intellectual property commercialization company.

From 2005 to 2011, Smith served as Chairman, CEO and President of DigitalGlobe Inc. (DGI), a global provider of satellite and imagery products and services. She delivered five-fold revenue growth and took DGI public in 2009.

Prior to DGI, Smith served as President and CEO of eDial, a private VoIP (voice over internet protocol) collaboration company. After achieving 100% annual growth for three straight years under Smith’s stewardship, eDial was acquired by Alcatel, a global telecommunications company.

Smith’s leadership roles also include President and CEO of SRDS, a private business-to-business publishing company. She served as Chief Operating Officer of Micron Electronics and led preparations for the initial public offering of Micron’s subsidiary, HostPro.

Smith co-founded Treacy & Company, a consulting and boutique investment business. She began her career at Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm. She was named a Partner at Bain before joining Sara Lee Corporation in Paris, France as Vice President.

Smith currently serves as Board Chair of AspenTech, a leading provider of asset optimization software and solutions. She also serves on the Boards of R1 RCM, a healthcare revenue cycle management company servicing hospitals, health systems and physician groups; Circor International, a global manufacturer specializing in products for markets including oil and gas, power generation, aerospace and defense; and MDA, a Canadian provider of satellite systems, imagery and robotics.

Smith earned her BA at London Guildhall University and received an MS in Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
