Eric Beringause brings more than 30 years of experience in a broad range of food and consumer products companies to his role on the Management Board of CP Kelco. Currently, he serves as the CEO  of Prima Wawona, LLC, a Paine Schwartz Partners portfolio company. Prima Wawona is a leading grower and producer of peaches, citrus fruits and almonds located in California’s Central Valley.

He was previously CEO of Dean Foods Company, a leading food and beverage company and the largest processor and direct-to-store distributor of fresh fluid milk and other dairy and dairy case products in the US, a position he held since 2019. From 2015 to 2019, he was the CEO of Gehl Foods, LLC, a producer of dairy-based beverages and food products.

Prior to this, he served as CEO of Advanced Refreshment LLC, one of the largest US producers of private-label bottled water and water-based beverages from 2011-2014, and as CEO of Sturm Foods, Inc., a leader in private-label food products, specialty food brands and contract manufacturing from 2008 to 2011. Under Beringause’s leadership, Sturm was successfully sold from Hicks Muse, a private equity firm, to Treehouse Foods Company.

From 2006 to 2008, Beringause served as President of Alcoa Consumer Products. He brought in a new leadership team at Alcoa and managed worldwide manufacturing operations, as well as contract manufacturing in Asia.

Before this role, Beringause worked at Gerber Infant & Baby Products, where he was a Senior Vice President from 2001 to 2005. He was the senior marketing and operations executive for Gerber’s global strategy and led the baby care product lines and non-US nutrition businesses. Beringause also held senior leadership positions at Edgewood Consulting Group, Inc. and ConAgra, Inc./Grist Mill. He began his career at Nestle, Inc. before moving on to Nabisco Brands and The Pillsbury Company.

Beringause holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Cornell University and a BA from Vassar College.
