Michael Lorelli, a Director on the Management Board of CP Kelco, has spent the past decade leading and growing private equity portfolio companies in a variety of industries. Currently, Lorelli is the President and CEO of WaterJel Technologies, a manufacturer and supplier of professional and consumer burn-care products. He joined WaterJel in 2007, and is responsible for a strategic plan focusing on revenue acceleration and margin enhancement.
Prior to WaterJel, Lorelli served as President, CEO and on the Board of Directors of Latex International, a leading global manufacturer of latex mattress components and pillows. During his tenure (2004-2007), Latex International increased revenue two-fold. From 2001-2003, he led Strategic Optical Holdings, a contact lens supplier and distributor to a successful divestiture.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods market, with commercial and general management roles at the Clairol division of Bristol-Myers Squibb, and PepsiCo. As President of PepsiCo’s Pizza Hut International Division, Lorelli built out Pizza Hut’s global footprint, increasing their presence from 68 countries to 92, with significant expansion in Eastern Europe and Asia. He also served as a division president in PepsiCo’s beverage sector.
Lorelli received an MBA in Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a BA in Industrial Engineering from New York University’s School of Engineering and Science.
